BillDetective is an AI-assisted tool that helps you understand what is on your bills. Your privacy matters.

What you upload

When you upload a bill, the document is used to perform your analysis. Uploaded documents are not displayed publicly and are not shared through guessable links. Private storage is used where supported.

How analysis works

Your bill and your answers are sent to an AI model to identify charges, fees, and recurring costs. The analysis is informational only and is based on what is visible in the document.

Data minimization

We minimize unnecessary storage. You can request deletion of your uploaded documents and scan history where supported.

Account & payments

If you create an account or make a purchase, your email and entitlement are stored to associate reports with you. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

Analytics

We track aggregated funnel events (such as page views and button clicks) to improve the product. We do not sell your data.
